About the Role

We are recruiting for a dynamic Head of Sales to lead and execute a scalable, data-driven sales strategy aligned with 2025 growth objectives. This role involves overseeing the entire sales process, from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring revenue targets are met while maintaining high client satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with a strategic mindset and hands-on management skills, capable of driving sales success within a high-growth environment.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue Growth & Sales Strategy:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets.
  • Design and refine sales processes from lead qualification to contract signing.
  • Identify and prioritise high-potential markets, industry verticals, and product offerings.

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Recruit, onboard, and mentor sales professionals, including business development and demo specialists.
  • Set clear roles, responsibilities, and performance metrics for team members.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and professional development to build a high-performing sales team.

Pipeline Management & Forecasting:

  • Own and optimise the CRM, ensuring accurate pipeline tracking, forecasting, and analytics.
  • Develop and report key sales metrics such as leads generated, conversion rates, and deal velocity.
  • Ensure data-driven decision-making to improve conversion rates and shorten the sales cycle.

Collaboration with Internal Stakeholders:

  • Work closely with Marketing to align lead-generation campaigns with sales objectives.
  • Collaborate with Product and Tech teams to ensure features align with market needs.
  • Partner with Finance and Operations to manage pricing, proposals, and contract negotiations.

Process Optimisation & Continuous Improvement:

  • Establish and refine standard operating procedures for prospecting, demos, proposals, and negotiation.
  • Identify bottlenecks and implement best practices to improve win rates and shorten deal cycles.
  • Drive alignment with strategic goals such as new product launches and market expansion.

Relationship Management & Client Advocacy:

  • Maintain relationships with key clients and partners, ensuring a high level of trust and satisfaction.
  • Serve as an escalation point for high-value deals and strategic partnerships.
  • Gather feedback from customers and prospects to inform the product roadmap and go-to-market strategies.

Candidate Profile

Experience & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing people and sales processes.
  • Proven track record of achieving multi-million revenue targets in a complex B2B environment.
  • Experience building and executing go-to-market strategies in high-growth companies.
  • Strong knowledge of CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Background in SaaS, Insurtech, or a related technology-driven industry is desirable.
