Job Title: Account Executive (Field Based)
Location: Field-based visiting customers mainly in the South East, plus going to HQ in the Midlands about once a week.
Contract Type: Full-time
Salary: Up to £40k + Car Allowance + Benefits
About the Role
We are working with a market-leading business to find an experienced Account Executive / Asset Manager to join their team in a field-based capacity.
This role is ideal for a proactive and commercially minded professional who thrives on building strong customer relationships on-site, ensuring assets are tracked and managed effectively, and driving operational improvements.
You’ll act as the key link between the business and its customers, implementing commercial policies, conducting audits, managing stock counts, and identifying opportunities to deliver additional value. The position offers autonomy, variety, and the chance to make a real impact across a diverse customer base.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary contact for assigned customers, visiting sites regularly to ensure excellent supplier (renter) management.
- Educate and inform customers on commercial, logistic, and financial processes.
- Conduct physical stock inventories, investigate discrepancies, and ensure contract conditions are adhered to.
- Identify market opportunities, risks, and customer needs, providing actionable recommendations.
- Coordinate internal and external actions to resolve issues, improve processes, and deliver customer satisfaction.
- Monitor use of products and services, taking proactive steps to prevent misuse.
- Produce regular quality reports, providing accurate and transparent updates on asset management, market trends, and competition.
Candidate Profile
We’re looking for a confident and customer-focused individual with strong organisational skills and a commercial mindset. You should be comfortable managing your own time and priorities while maintaining a collaborative approach with internal teams.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar field-based or customer-facing role.
- Background in logistics, supply chain, or asset management is highly desirable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and confident working with data and reports.
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work occasional weekends and overnight stays when required.
