About the Role

We are recruiting for a strategic and results-driven Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to lead the company’s revenue growth, sales strategy, and commercial operations. This role is critical in scaling revenue streams, optimising go-to-market strategies, and ensuring sustainable business growth.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving revenue in high-growth environments, leading cross-functional teams, and implementing data-driven strategies to enhance profitability and market expansion.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue Growth & Strategy:

  • Develop and execute a holistic revenue strategy encompassing sales, marketing, and partnerships.
  • Identify and capitalise on new revenue streams, market opportunities, and customer segments.
  • Align sales, marketing, and customer success teams to optimise the customer journey and maximise lifetime value (LTV).

Leadership & Team Development:

  • Lead and mentor sales, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure alignment with revenue objectives.
  • Establish clear performance metrics, incentive structures, and career development plans for team members.
  • Drive a high-performance culture through coaching, training, and continuous improvement.

Pipeline & Forecasting:

  • Own and refine revenue forecasting models, ensuring accurate reporting and data-driven decision-making.
  • Oversee CRM management and sales funnel optimisation to improve conversion rates and shorten the sales cycle.
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for sales effectiveness and revenue growth.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the CEO and leadership team to define business growth objectives.
  • Align with Product and Tech teams to ensure market-driven innovation and customer-focused solutions.
  • Partner with Finance and Operations to establish pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and cost-efficient scaling.

Process Optimisation & Market Expansion:

  • Implement best practices in sales enablement, account-based marketing (ABM), and demand generation.
  • Explore new markets, partnerships, and alliances to enhance the company’s competitive positioning.
  • Drive data-led insights to refine go-to-market strategies and customer acquisition models.

Customer & Partner Engagement:

  • Foster strong relationships with key clients and strategic partners.
  • Serve as an executive sponsor for major accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Gather market insights and customer feedback to continuously refine the company’s value proposition.

Candidate Profile

Experience & Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in revenue leadership roles, such as CRO, VP of Sales, or Commercial Director.
  • Demonstrated success in scaling revenue and driving multi-million-pound growth in a complex B2B environment.
  • Expertise in SaaS, Insurtech, or technology-driven industries is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and data analytics for revenue forecasting.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute go-to-market strategies in high-growth companies.
